We're glad you're here! Join us as we work together in supporting our Rockford, Michigan, elementary school. We strive to enrich the student and staff experience through events and activities organized throughout the school year.

What we do
What we do
We are a nonprofit volunteer group dedicated to serving, supporting and engaging the Lakes Elementary School community. Through donations and fundraising efforts, we invest back in our school to enhance the educational experience for students, families and staff, as well as build a stronger community.

The PTO is led by a five-person board elected into their position by voting members. Board members oversee planning and execution of all PTO activities and service opportunities, budgets, meetings and fundraising activities.

Rita and her husband Gabe have three children, two of which are currently enrolled at Lakes. This is her fourth year on the Board and her second year as President. She previously held the VP, Comms role.

SARA BIER
Sara and her husband Ryan have two children, both currently enrolled at Lakes. This is her second year on the PTO Board, where she will lead communication efforts for the PTO.

PAULA ELLISON
Paula and her husband Pat have five children, with their youngest currently enrolled at Lakes. This is her third year on the Board managing the PTO’s budget and finances.

Our Budget
Events and activities organized by the PTO are supported by our fundraising efforts, as well as donations and sponsorships from local businesses. Voting members review and vote on the annual budget for the following school year at the last PTO meeting of the year. The PTO's budget is available for review at any time; please email us to receive a copy.
